KAMPO REFERENCE EXHIBITION HALL ATTACHED TO KATAGIRI SEIRYUDO With the view of impart the Kampo information to the coming generations through reference materials of the Kampo medicine and pharmacology which have been transmitted by our ancestry in Japan,this Kampo Reference Exhibition Hall was established. According to a teaching of Amamori Hoshu,an Edo scholar of Chinese classics,who said that with correct references the yound may never compare unfavorably with the sage of one hundred years of age,we exhibited various reference materials centering on medicine and pharmacology from ancient Japan which were succeeded in the Katagiri family. We are also exhibiting reference materials from various parts of Japan in the Edo and Meiji periods. This is the first of reference exhibition halls in Japan specializing in the Kampo medicine. |
